The Milton-Freewater Neighborhood Senior Center provides opportunities for wellness, fulfillment, and socialization for individuals age 55+ in Milton-Freewater, Oregon and the surrounding community.

The Senior Center building offers a venue for community members of all ages to gather, celebrating the milestones of life.


A Space For Outreach
The Senior Center supports the Meals on Wheels program for house-bound members of our community, bringing them healthy food and much-needed social time.

The Senior Center's programs are made possible through the generous work of volunteers, dedicated to keeping Milton-Freewater a community of care.We are always welcoming more hearts and hands!

All Milton-Freewater Senior Center activities are free! However, we do ask those participating in many activities to become members.Membership dues help us keep our programs available!
Membership is $10 annuallyApplications can be found at the entrance of the Senior Center.

Join us for a delicious, healthy meal prepared in generosity by Wild Thyme while you learn about living in wellness!Topics often include adaptive exercises, physical safety, accessible transportation, technology adaptions for ease of use, identifying unsafe online spaces, increasing socialization, and independent living.

Meals on Wheels
Delivered every TuesdayThe Senior Center currently provides 27 Meals on Wheels deliveries to home-bound seniors in our area, providing nutritious food, socialization, and safety checks.Our program is currently at-capacity, but we are always welcoming more volunteers.


CAPECO Food Boxes
Third Tuesdays of Each Month
2:30pmThe Senior Center serves as a pick-up site for CAPECO's Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and Produce Distributions.Recipients must be applicants to the program; CAPECO will have paper applications available at distributions.View eligibility and apply on CAPECO's website:

Summer Kickoff - Pizza Fundraiser
Generously sponsored by Wild Thyme, the Senior Center was a hub for all hot-and-ready pizza to kick off the summer!Community members called the Senior Center during the designated time, placing their order for a pick-up pizza.All proceeds from the pizzas went to the Senior Center to support our Meals on Wheels program and our Friday Congregational Meals.


This year's Tropical Bash supported the Senior Center's programming through the purchase of a tropically-inspired meal, prepared by Wild Thyme! Folks were able to dine-in at the center and enjoy free family-friendly games and activities, while getting to know their neighbors.Local students and youth groups showed incredible generosity for the community, helping host games and supporting individuals with mobility needs.Funds from the purchase of meal tickets contributed toward supporting the Senior Center's programming and meal distributions.Thank you for all of your support and making this event such an amazing experience for our seniors and their families!!



Held in December, our annual Holiday Cookie Walk promises many delectable treats everyone will enjoy.Treats are sold by the pound, making them perfect for gifting to friends and family.Funds from the sale of cookies, candy, and other baked goods help support the Senior Center's programming and meal distributions.

Rental Information
To rent the gathering space of our building, call or email the main office to inquire about availability and make an appointment with Larry to complete paperwork.
Due to state health codes, kitchen access is not available to the community. However, licensed caterers are allowed use the kitchen for your event.
